Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy:
Jacket for John le Carré’s Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy.
Out of five Cold-War erea British special agents, there are two who are traitors. All five agents have codenames, but the identity of the traitors and their code names are obscured until the end of the book. In the book’s title their names are replaced with the word “Spy”. This jacket design mirrors that naming decision by obscuring the traitor’s names, while one can be seen under his obscured name handing a file around the edge of the dust jacket to the inside flap where a Russian agent waits.
