FORT WORTH STOCK SHOW & RODEO
BRIEF
Emphasize Levi’s connection to Western heritage at the Fort Worth Stock Show.
SOLUTION
After several rounds of ideation it was decided that the primary component of this project would be dramatic participation in the stock show’s parade, accompanied by a social campaign, and smaller activations in front of local Levi’s stores. The centerpiece was a covered wagon with a custom denim bonnet, flags, and painted banners inspired by the Levi’s archive. It sat displayed at the store activations, roared through downtown Ft. Worth in the parade, and helped us win the Western Heritage Award.

LEVI’S SKI TOUR
BRIEF
Remind the world of Levi’s unlikely history with the most frigid season to support the launch of a cozy winter line.SOLUTION
The aesthetic at the core of this activation was the feeling of being in a family friend’s old Rocky Mountain ski cabin, surrounded by the ghosts of Winter Olympics past. We outfitted a box truck to play the role of ski cabin, and I helped make the set dressing as authetic as possible with everything from a CRT television playing campaign videos, to a 70 page book documenting Levi’s history with winter gear. The Levi’s Ski Lodge made stops in several East Coast cities.SERVICES RENDERED BY C.G.H.

DR. MARTENS IN NORDSTROM
BRIEF
Come up with an engaging and original way to convey the essence of Dr. Marten’s new “bouncing soles for bouncing souls” campaign inside of several Nordstrom stores.
SOLUTION
This project went through a large number of revisions, and covered many possible executions during that time. Everything from Teletubby-like green spaces with portals, to mirrored cloud rooms designed to create a floating sensation, and eventually surreal amber acrylic forms designed to fill the activation space with a warm glow – even without access to power.

The project was brought to us by Dr. Martens with involvement from Nordstrom, but few concrete details. We went through several rounds of revisions before it was eventually put on ice.
ATTEMPT NUMBER 2
The project was revived several months later and we went through numerous rounds of revisions. Before it could be produced though, the overall idea of a Dr. Martens installation in Nordstrom’s space was canceled by Nordstrom... Ain’t that just the way. I’m showing this work anyway because I like the drawings I did for it.
